Leijay Guesthouse is a charming place nestled in a tranquil neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of Galle. The staff made my stay incredibly enjoyable, going above and beyond to assist with everything from arranging transport to preparing delicious meals. The swimming pool and beautiful gardens provided the perfect environment for relaxation. However, I did encounter an unfortunate incident regarding our room arrangements which dampened the experience slightly.

Staying at Leijay was one of the highlights of our time in Sri Lanka. The lush gardens and tranquility provided a perfect escape from the busy tourist spots. Each morning, we enjoyed delightful breakfasts on the veranda, and the staff treated us like family. The only downside was that it’s not in the heart of Galle Fort, but a short tuk-tuk ride will take you there easily. Overall, an excellent value for money with amazing hospitality.
